In Memoriam: Bradley Johnson Benton

Posted by Paul "Rusty" Russ, General Foreman on May 2, 2019 3:41:40 PM

Bradley Johnson Benton, 28, of Concord, NC, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2019 leaving behind his beloved wife of 10 years, Leslie Benton; sons, Rylan and Jaxson Benton, and many close and much-loved friends and family members.

“It’s impossible to sum Brad up in just a few words. He was truly a one-of-a-kind guy. His wife Leslie, and sons Jackson and Riley, were his first priority and his reason for living. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and loved his country. He loved all things outdoors, adventure and especially, his family. He loved to work outside and when he did, he used his hands and his heart. He always put others before himself and never hesitated to help anyone who needed it. He was a friend to everyone- this big muscular man with an even bigger heart. I will miss the rides home after work, when he knew I’d had a rough day, and would do everything in his power to make me crack a smile or laugh…he wouldn’t stop until he succeeded. Brad will be missed by his entire team (who all loved him for his heart and silly wise cracks) and by me as one of my greatest friends.  Lewis Tree has lost an essential part of our team.”
