During the holiday season some families go through hardships and are unable to provide their children with Christmas gifts; this can be a very rough patch for a parent to experience. The Concord office wanted to help a family in need within our community who may be less fortunate this holiday season. We reached out to Cooperative Christian Ministry and they placed us with a family located here in Concord, North Carolina.
Everyone in the office pitched in to make this possible by donating money to go towards a gift card or buying presents for the two children to unwrap on Christmas morning. We purchased stockings, personalized them with glitter glue, and stuffed them with all kinds of goodies, wrapped gifts for the children to open and made sleighs out of candy. The family also received a Walmart gift card with $400.00 allotted for a Christmas meal, clothing, toys and any other needs they may have to help make their Christmas holiday complete.
Giving back to our community was a very rewarding experience and we look forward to adopting another family within our community next Christmas season!
